Infrastructure Initiatives

It is too easy to overlook the infrastructure in our modern lives.

To ignore the technology and jobs that builds our roads.  That keeps our power on.  Helps us connect and communicate.  And supplies the water to our homes and businesses.

Thanks to private and public investment, much of the infrastructure in St. Charles County is among some of the newest and most advanced in the St. Louis region.

At the same time, changes in the global economy, technology, regulations, and other issues are prompting communities around the globe to look ahead to the infrastructure of tomorrow.

Private citizens, business leaders, and officials at all levels are taking the time to thoughtfully consider best practices for generating, distributing, and using a range of energy sources most efficiently and cost-effectively.

Others are turning their attention to new ways to transport people, goods, and services.  And how to keep pace with technological changes and increasing demands in communications and information services.  Or how to provide the public utilities needed in today’s modern society while best managing our limited land, water, and other natural resources.

What’s possible and what will we expect from the infrastructure of tomorrow in St. Charles County?  It’s up to all of us to find out together!
